It's more than just a destination. It's a rite of passage. For decades, this tiny Balearic island has dictated the global pulse of electronic music.
What started as bohemian gatherings in the 70s has evolved into a multi-million dollar nocturnal empire. But the soul remains the same: losing yourself in the music, surrounded by strangers, under a roof of lasers or a sky full of stars.
Before the night begins, the island gathers. At Café del Mar in San Antonio, thousands watch the sun dip below the Mediterranean horizon to the sound of ambient Balearic beats. It is the calm before the storm.
The superclubs that define the island. Each with its own identity, its own crowd, and its own legend.

The Ibiza season traditionally runs from late May to early October. The peak is July and August, but the opening and closing parties (May/October) are legendary for true music lovers.
Most clubs are casual — t-shirts and trainers are fine. However, Pacha and VIP areas enforce stricter codes (no shorts or flip-flops). DC-10 is the opposite: the weirder, the better.
Expect to pay €40–€100+ for entry, depending on the club, the DJ, and the time of season. Drinks inside are notoriously expensive (€15–€25 for a spirit and mixer).
The Discobus is your best friend — cheap, reliable, and connects all major clubs and towns all night. Taxis are available but can be hard to find at 6 AM after a closing party.
